Maggie kindly invited Dee Ukes members to lunch prior to our gig in Carnoustie today. A great time was had by all. What a lovely spread of food. Many thanks Maggie. Delicious!
We then went on to Willowbank Care Home where we entertained the residents. We just about managed to squeeze all 15 of us into the available space, with Sandra and George gallantly offering to stand. Our audience gradually got into the swing of things and by the end most were singing along with us. The feedback was very positive with one character called Bill (there’s always at least one) saying it was the best entertainment they had ever had. Praise indeed! Lynn, who organised the gig, took some photos on her phone and has promised to email to me. I will add them to the Blog once I get them.

It was so kind we all had such a good time 🎉and so much to eat that it’s a wonder we were able to play our Ukes! 😄🎸 Another great audience who seemed to enjoy 🎉our playing🎸and singing🎶 almost as much as we did😃It is all so much fun🎉Thanks again Liz for leading your merry band👍🏻🎸🎵🎼🎶😃Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
