Gilfillan Memorial Church

We had an brilliant evening with the Guild members of Gilfillan Memorial Church who turned up despite the inclement weather. This was our first visit there and it proved to be a beautiful venue with a stunning backdrop. Our enthusiastic audience joined in with all of our songs and helped to create a fantastic atmosphere. For those who know the story of Pat’s thimbles, he was gifted with another thimble, originally from the Shetlands, by an audience member. He will soon have one for every finger! 🙂

Many thanks to Ken Dick, Stewart the caretaker and all the Guild members for making us feel so welcome and providing a lovely cup of tea and delicious cakes.

Great Gig to Start 2020

Dee Ukes headed off to Seaton Grove Care Home in Arbroath for the first gig of the new year. It was lovely to be back in action and the service users there along with the staff all contributed to a wonderful afternoon. Ella never left the dance floor, despite the fact she had to use a walking frame and she did umpteen laps of the dance floor showing some great moves. We had several wheelchair dancers and most were able to join in with the singing and  actions. Lots of brilliant feedback and delicious cakes and shortbread rounded off a super afternoon.
